** INTRODUCTION **
The Glenelg Community Hospital provides high quality, cost effective holistic care and services to its customers.
The Hospital continues to foster a sense of community spirit and is a 46 bed, not for profit facility.
The Hospital provides pleasant surroundings with access to clinical areas at ground level.
The Hospital currently has 30 single room accommodation with en suite facilities, 4 share rooms and a 4 bed special care unit.
The hospital is an acute care organisation with two operating theatres with recovery and day surgery recovery units. The hospital does not provide a casualty or accident and emergency service direct to the public.
Additional services provided to our patients and community, include Case Management, Pre- Admission and Diabetic Clinics.
External providers for patient support services include a Physiotherapist and Pharmacist.
